No.....that is a leaf spring rear and it is a 7.5" rear.

    Best bet....get an 8.5" from a 71-2 Cutlass/Skylark and then build it.
I have an article on our site about it and how to find and remove posi units from 71-87 GM rears with the corporate 8.5" center section.

I bought a rearend out of a local junkyard out of a '81 Olds Cutlass. By swapping the spring perches and rerouting the brake lines, it's a simple swap. A lot of people will say it's a weak swap and not worth the time, but it depends on your intentions. Personally, I just wanted to swap a narrower rearend into my 67 Skylark. The Cutlass rear is 3 1/3 inches narrower, it's a 3.42 posi, and with the minor mods mentioned above, it'll allow me to put in a more common backspaced 8 inch wheel.
