will shorter tires on the front hurt weight transfer at the track?

I currently have a Mickey Thompson bias ply setup on my street strip car. I want to change to M&H radials. The Mickey Thompson's are 28 inches tall with an 85 to 86 inch circumference. The M&H's are 26 inches tall with an advertised circumference of 81.7 inches. Will the shorter tires hurt weight transfer on launch at the track?

I say no Rick. Weight transfer has nothing to do with front tire height, it has to do with suspension.

The shorter tire should improve your reaction time by about .012 as well
