Will the master cyl. & booster for my power drum brakes work with a disc set up? I know I'd have to change the proportioning valve.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
Generally not. The biggest reason is that a disc master cylinder will incorporate residual pressure valves that a drum m/c won't have. There were a few years where the valves were external, so maybe someone sharp on the '70 Skylark setup will chime in (assuming that's the car you're speaking of). Devon
