This is a long shot but maybe someone out there has tried it. Last summer I purchased a 1973 Century Gran Sport Stage 1 car. The engine is a T/A built 455 but they went with a totally stock exhaust and I wish to remedy that. At Bowling Green last year I bought a set of new Hooker Super Comp headers. These are the between the rails headers. Has anyone ever tried putting these on a 73? I emailed Hooker and they said the headers fit only 68 to 72 cars. Over the years I have heard the club M/T headers and T/A headers fit 73's pretty well. My car is an air and auto machine. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian o No:
brian, thre's enough room under the hood for a family of 5. i have old kenne-bell headers on mine and there's plenty of room left. i think you can put them in from the top or bottom, if memory serves right. the 73 chassis is wider than the rest. john 73 stg1 4spd
Thanks John, It's good to hear the old KB's work well. Does anyone else have any input? Thanks, Brian
