Factory color grey headliner. So how is the progress going you two Our two SuperCats are still sleeping in Arizona.. I'll be picking up our Maroon/White Cat in the next few months. Haven't seen but a picture of it in 4 years
Hi John, looks like I did not answer this question! All projects stalled due to work -responsibilities to business and family...hope to get some time in over Christmas. 65 in this thread is getting some attention and my 69 GS350 3-speed is in the work space. Glaciers are disappearing faster. Onward!
OK Wild Bill, I have to get some help to do some work on the Challenged 'Cat. Here is the state of mine. Up on a lift and no engine installed or interior; lots of shiny bits installed but a lot of stuff to do. Time to JUMP on it. Cheers, Ted
As soon as i get back from the Nationals and drive the next week at the MECUM auction.....Whitey Cat will get 100% of my attention and will be done ! Peace WildBill as it sits right now......
After throwing a bunch of parts at it- the hydraulic clutch works! Glass going back in this week. About time to install a temporary seat and take a test ride. Waiting for my spot in the upholstery shop.
Ready? Clutch working? Check! Brakes? Check. Exhaust? This week? TA Shorties, 2.5", H pipe + these monster Ultra Flow Welded 27" long(straight through) beasts with resonators I'm hoping for the deepest exhaust sound ever.
You're right when referring to how fast glaciers move. This thread really started back in 2006?! Wow! Hey Ted is your shop a private shop or do you sell your skills to the highest bidder? Lol
Well the thread started in 2006, I took the body off the frame in 2000. So yeah, glaciers...I keep finding more cars, not finishing them. Bill and I talked in 2006 about driving them to Seattle for that year's BCA. All about the overdrive! A friend of mine had taken his Dart apart the year before his son was born...Son is now a successful engineer. Dart just went to the trim shop-24 years later.
