Thinking about putting a wideband O2 sensor and controller/readout from Inovate on the GS. The setup I want comes with a 5 wire Bosch sensor. Is this sensor heated and if yes how much current does it pull? In other words do I need to run it off a relay? Peace, Mike D.

It is heated, but I doubt it needs a relay or draws much current as the wire gauge is very small. I bet it draws less power than hooking up an 1156 bulb.

Just connect as per wiring diagram that comes in the instalation instructions. Everything is included (s'posed to be!). No problem! Which kit are you looking at?

You are going to love it! Makes tuning SOOOOO much better...:beer

The one I am looking at is Jegs part # 540-3796 on page 110-G of the catalog I have. It is made by Innovate and it retails for $229.00. I was going to put it in an dual pod A Pillar mount with another gauge. Peace, Mike D.

I recommend grounding the heater to a spot other than the actual sensor ground. It doesn't have to be to far away because the low current, but the heater made enough noise in my system to be noticable, so I moved the heater ground and solved that.
