The bank is trying to steal you big time ! :af:

Have you asked for US fund MO ? More than probable the guy have no bad intention even if I have to say it's his fault :error: I did once send a personnal check and the bank (Alabama or Calif ?) didn't change it :puzzled: Then I send a US MO and everything went fine .... I learned my lesson that the US bank also suck (kiddin')

Works both ways. I had some thing here, told the guy NO MONEY orders as banks up here charge fees too, they cost him money to buy and me money to cash, why blow 10.00 in fees on a 20.00 part? So what doe he do? Sends me a money order, not only that but it said right on the front "good only at US banks"...LOL Nice.

Sounds like you got a newbie.

I've bought literally hundreds of parts with canadian postal money orders in US funds and never had an issue with any of them.

    Paypal is good too.

have you guys seen the new fed-ex commercial where the two suits are trying to figure out to get a box "from here to germany?"...LOL Its funny, they're so dumb you just want to scream at them.

Thought of this thread right away.

I allready ask my Post Office about the Money Order , and he let me knows that the Canadian Post Office will change the MO in both US or Canadian(of course) fund $$$ .
I just sold something to a board member in USA and tell him the US and Can. price $ he'll go with the one he prefer (I know that "foreign" MO cost a little more)

Converting this one would cost way too much....

When I use a US Money order I always get it at the bank. TD Canada Trust is partnered with Wells Fargo in the US. No charges to the vendor to cash it.
My bank has never charged me anything to cash a US money order or cheque.

No charges for checks but it must depend on which bank the MO is drawn from. Then again that was with the Bank of Montreal too before I got smart and pulled everything out over mortgage debate. Went to TD, happy guy now!!

Marc, complete interior is avail for that car in black (excpet maybe armest bases), no need to dye anything. Its not the answer unless you absolutly can't find the color you need.

Change to black interior, add some gsx stripes onto white exterior, cam and stall and good to go.

I know about the availability of the interior parts, its just that my wallet is too thin for that kind of project!.... :Brow: I thought that dying would cost much less, but im too scared that it will crack, chip and fade and then all my interior would be ruined, then I would look like an :moonu: hole!! Whats the best/rumbler cam I could get in the 455 without changing anything else (lifters, pushrods, rockers, valves) than the cam itself? That cam makes the car run way too smooth and soft, its not aggressive at all, well, maybe a little bit!! :) And whats with the stall, I never understood how that works? (converter, stall....then there like 2000, 2200....???) what change does it make on the car/transmission/gearing....?

Marc, interiors are high wear areas, best way is to replace. Black dye over white will wear and then look terrible. As for the cam and stall convertor stuff its all been beat out many times in the engine and tranny forums so do some searching and there is enough info there to keep you busy for a long time... :TU:

    Shipping to Canada

Some of my very best Ebay buyers have been from Canada and have become pretty good friends of mine even though I live in Central Florida. Anytime you ship to international buyers there are always concessions such as the medium-of-exchange from their currency to ours, customs forms to fill out and of course, getting the address correct - we are so used to zip codes and the usual three-line address element. My only gripe would have to be paying the fees that Paypal charges for cross-border and currency exchange which we, as the sellers must absorb. After all of the Ebay fees are paid for the listing, and Paypal fees are added in, you are luckey to have anything left for yourself! I look at it this way....many of my auctions would have ended without a buyer had it not been for our Canadian Ebay customers!
