Wow - is Jeff OK? Was the car a total loss? When was that?

Hope everyone was OK. Cedar Falls is a nice track, good long shutdown area.

I live 16 miles from that track. I love drag racing but I have never been to the wheelstander event. I see these videos and can't help but think, "What a bunch of idiots". I know it's got it's entertainment value but I guess I just don't understand it. Seems like guys simply trying their best to destroy otherwise good cars. And some actually succeed. Wonder what they are thinking on their way home. I know what I would be thinking.

The video says Jul 22, 2012. Some of the comments from Jeff say 7 years ago. I dont think it was a total loss.
As soon as I saw the orginal post I knew I had seen that car before.

I guess they get bored with running a normal style race. Running 10's on the rear tires.

Me too. When I first saw the post, I thought of that video. I thought it had been some time from when I saw it. So this new post had me thinking it was not the same car. Glad to hear he was able to salvage somthing.
    More important he walked away.
