I recently realized that you just can't internet a pre 70's Buick back to life. You have to know a guy who knows a guy. But, I know this Buick community know who those guys are. Anyone know who are some of the top notch Buick repo parts professionals are? I like NOS as well. But not for every bolt on the car! Please Comment
What are you looking for? As you have noted, there are few repops for pre 70s cars. Easier to comment re: specific parts. What year and model?
Many or most parts are made overseas. Many places sell parts made by the same places. The only places I know that sell just Buick parts are TAperformance, maybe CARS, Todd on this Board, and the Betts company that is just starting up.
Some others that do cater to Buick are: OPGI, Year 1, Inline Tube & The Parts Place. These companies also cater to other brands as well. I do carry "most" of the parts these companies offer. My goal is to try and have all these parts under 1 roof rather than having to call 5 different companies to get the products each company produces. I believe I have the best Fastener collection & Bolt Kits in the country for our Buick's as well. And as Jim mentioned, a lot of the aftermarket parts are the same at each Vendor. You just have to find the best prices! (And of course Customer Service is valuable as well) There may be a couple others that are Chevy Brands per say but dabble in some of the Buick items simply because they're interchangeable. For a 67 LeSabre? I'd try CARS and the Buick Farm for repo and NOS. Steele or CARS for rubber. Most mechanicals can be gotten anywhere, try Rockauto for a great selection. I don't know if Legendary has LeSabre interiors? Some Chev/Olds/Pontiac parts may fit, try Fusick and Ames, or search for Impala parts.
