    Which Buick in 1962 was equal to the Impala SS? The
    Wildcat,Lesabre,Invicta,or Electra?

    in 62, the impala & the lesabre had similar body & roof line styles .
    the 62 lesabre was a nice car .
    the olds starfire also had the same body style .
    was the wildcat like the lesabre only all juiced up? i donot remember ever seeing a 62 wildcat back in those days .

    The Wildcat is Buicks Impala SS, '62 was the first year for the Wildcat trim option which was added to the Invicta, so a '62 Wildcat is basically an SS Invicta. All Wildcats '62-'70 were equipped with a big block, 401, 425, 430, 455 and are mechanically very different from their Chevy counterpart. The glass interchanges with the Impala but virtually nothing else is the same.

    in 1962, did the invicta have a different back end & roof slope than the lesabre ?

    Yea i kinda thought it was the Wildcat too,i like the body styles of those cars they look real nice,thanks guys.
