I have a dumb question as another part I received came without a single stitch of installation instructions :Dou: .......I ordered and received the Mr. Gasket front coil spring boosters. They are heavy rubber grooved u shaped rings you put in the spring to raise the cars suspension up to 1 inch. The ring is not solid it has a cut in it I assume so you can coil it around the spring in between coils. I also am assuming you do not lay it up on the very top or very bottom of the spring.

How do I install it ?

If you put it on the end then the springs pig tail isnt going to register in the a arm bucket solidly I am deducing -so that cant be right ? So that would tell me you just coil it around say the second and third coils in a spiral and that should give you the lift yet still allow it to solidly register in the top and bottom a arm buckets via its tail . The coil spring boosters I have (not installed yet) say to place them as close to the center of the spring as possible.

Are yours like mine ? They are a rubber donut shaped ring that is split in half ? I went online and found photos of a guy putting some on a pickup truck lifted. He actually had them tie wrapped to the springs and installed on the very end of the top of the spring ? I think I will install it how your instructions say ......I wonder if its in the center because that is where the most amount of spring compression takes place ? Thanks alot for your help J.

Sounds a lot like a circle track spring rubber. Put them in the center of the spring.

If your car is sitting too low, you may have a broken coil. Sometimes that is hard to see, especially if it is up on top. Usually the GM intermediates break on the bottom coil though. Back in the day I replaced a lot of those, and got surprised when the springs came out in pieces. :)
