Stupid me! The engine is out of my 72 GS 455 being rebuilt. I decided to take the opportunity to clean up the engine bay. I removed the A/C condenser to clean it up and its attachment hardware (stupid me did not take pictures). Now that I have it ready to go back in the vehicle, I cannot recall how to mount the brackets that hold the condenser to the front brace. I have an assembly manual that illustrated how to put mount the brackets to the condenser but it is unclear as to how the brackets with the condenser attached mount to the upper front cross member. There are two holes in the rear edge of the cross member that are the correct spacing for the condenser brackets but I cannot figure out which way the condenser brackets should face, with the long end towards the front of the condenser or the rear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
