Definately 100% I'll be there the entire week, got my hotel already and trekking out with a bunch from the northeast. driving out with my Centurion convert 455 with the family. Making this a family trip and plan on leaving the racecar at home.....well...let's just say that part is up for further thought. But I will be there no doubt about it. Can't wait!

    Going to Flint

    I second Rick's plans!

Taking the 70 Estate Wagon and also have to leave the stage 1 at home. Can't wait either. Also have a hotel and planning on caravaning with a group from the Minuteman Chapter from the Boston area. I had previously posted a reply that had their website and caravan information but can't remember where I posted it. A search on Minuteman might turn it up. I am surprised there hasn't been more discussion on this topic.

Do you think Marc would mind if the N.E. Caravan planned route was posted here perhaps in it's own thread for future viewing ease?

If you do not have a motel yet, contact the Flint Tourist and Convention center: 888-230-2587.
Rooms are already at a premium. The last word I had ,we already had over 1400 filled.
Registration forms can be found at :www.buickclub.org

    Alan,

Carl Rychlik reserved 20 rooms at the Ramada for the duration of the event for the Northeast Chapter guys and even has a written confirmation. Each room is a double and non-smoking. He has about 8 left. The Ramada is about 10 minutes from down town Flint. He had told me that Roberta also mentioned the hotel is a good one. Carl did mention that if you need a room for me to let him know. When it gets to be about a month prior he will have everyone that reserved a room switch over the confirmation hold with their own cards. He said he will first verify this with the Hotel before doing this to avoid any mix-ups and cancelled rooms by mistake.

If you have Carl's number feel free to call otherwise I can always PM or e-mail it over to you.

I'll be there for the week. I already reserved a room with Carl. Should be a very interesting experience in Flint.

Don't forget that there is a test and tune set up at Milan Dragway for friday, so bring you cars!! This is not a judged meet, and if you register your car and bring it to the meet, you will recieve a VERY NICE memento of the meet. These mementos are for every Buick 1991 or older that is registered and is physically on the field. If you register the car and do not bring it, you DO NOT get the memento. You really don't have to go all the way to Detroit to see great cars. The Buick Gallery across the parking lot from the show will have all the Buick concept cars and the Buicks that Buick Motor division has collected.

    Hi George,
My brother and I are planning on going with our cars. It seems the NE chapter is having there caravan going across I-90. If you feel their caravan is out of the way from where you would run going out to Michigan then, your more than welcome to join us. I'm close to I-80 and figure I would follow that route going west. Also, I heard they are going to spend the night in Rochester, NY. In order to meet up and run with the NE caravan would mean I would have to put on extra miles in order to join them in Rochester. So, I'm possibly thinking about meeting up with them in Ohio. George, let me know what your plans are? Also, If anyone else who is interested in going and leaving from PA, NJ, or NY and was planning on running I-80 across, give a shout back. I think it would be pretty cool to get a bunch of Buick guys (and gals) to run out there together. Plus, I-80 has alot of gas stations along the highway:laugh:

I anticipate taking RT-80 out. I guess I'll hook up with the rest of the NE guys out on the road somewhere.

George, let us in on your indesion, as between me and "The Old Guy" we can help you decide what is the best thing to do! Pay to register your car and bring it, after that the rest is fun! you can go on a tour here and there, or just hang out at the show, go racing or watch some fast Buick Racing on Friday afternoon, come back to Flint to see some awesome fireworks on Friday night, then enjoy the biggest Buick show ever on Saturday! From Wednesday to Saturday, there will be the biggest Buick Swap meet on the earth, check out the link to the registration form and other notes of interest on this forum under Events, then BCA events.

BTW! Tomorrow is the BIG press Release from Buick in FLINT on the Centennial Celebration! I will post the press release here as soon as I get it or get home! BTW, I'll be there!
