Never had this issue before. Went to take the wheel off to check the brakes and the lug nut just spins. I assume the spiles on the studs are stripped out and it is spinning. How do i get the wheel off now?

last time i did it i used a grinder and and cut thru as much of the stud and the nut as i could cutting straight into the end of the stud, i then used a cold chisel and a hammer and snapped the nut off

Depends on the wheel and amount of room to work.....i would try to split the nut.......once it springs you should be able to work it off by hand........if the stud spline are stripped you should be able to weld it in place from the back side of the hub or axle.......if not that hub or axle will need to be replaced

Just wanted to give an update. I won the battle. My wheels have a removable center cap, so i was able to pull all the lugs minus the one that has the stripped wheel stud, take the dust cap off of the center hub and remove the spindle nut. I was then able to pull off the wheel, drum and hub all as one unit. After I did that, i was able to drill the back of the stud like you would a rivet till it popped loose and all is good. No damage to the wheel at all. I was still able to put a new stud in, as the splines on the stud is the only thing that stripped and the hole in the hub was fine.
