A friend have a 1974 Electra 225 and needs to adjust the wheel aligment.Anyone have the correct camber/caster/toe in info? Thanks Chatarina
From the 1974 Buick Chassis Manual. The Electra is under the B-C-E series. Your friend should invest in a Chassis Manual, https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr....TRS0&_nkw=1974+buick+chassis+manual&_sacat=0 This one is a nice deal and ships worldwide https://www.ebay.com/itm/1974-Buick...ash=item1ecb19d0f7:g:BT4AAOSwkttZY3hn&vxp=mtr
Larry- do u know if GM ever listed alignment spec for radial tires that where optional in the early '70's? I know that the '72 chassis manual that I have does not. I also have knowledge that when the big trucks (18 wheeler tractors) advanced from bias to radial (michelin) on the steering assembly, that a lot of experimentation took place. I worked for Thibodeau-Finch Express when we did the conversion.
Maybe look at a mid 70’s chassis manual? Have a look at this, http://forums.aaca.org/topic/301142-front-spec-alignment-for-radial-tires/
