I really want to build this car next. https://www.factoryfive.com/type-65-coupe/ But, I also want to make a Quad Cab 4x4 of this truck. I need more time and money first though.
Oooooohhhhhh nice subject! And an easy one for me to answer: 1960 Cadillac Coupe Deville. All options like power windows, locks, A/C, etc. Red custom leather interior, but done in stock style because the door panel inserts are so cool and they really don't need to change much. Black outside (well, I said I'd never have a black car again, but they look soooooo good) with all stock chrome, body left stock. Lowered on air ride with Cadillac Sombrero hubcaps and gangster white walls. 472 or 500 mild built Caddy engine around 400 hp and 550 ft-lbs. with a 4L80E and 3.23 gears in the rear end. Finished out trunk, hidden big-azz stereo......Like these: And if I didn't have black, this one has always caught my eye. I'm really trying not to buy anything else at the moment and sell the Riviera so in 2 years or so I can pull this off.
I'm trying to stay focused on the next one that is currently sitting in the barn awaiting it's turn. A 71 that's gonna be boosted and built for auto-x. Currently looks like this: Hopefully will be somewhat similar to this (eventually):
First i have to finish my 72 skylark then a future project i would want to build in the future would be a 70 gto that i would build up the poncho 455, and put a 5 speed in it. I would love to paint it the same color as my dads pontiac custom s vert, like this
My most practical build is my 70 Skylark that will be my basic muscle car, 455 mild cam, TH400, 8.5 rear posi, low 3 series gears, bucket seats, console, rallys. If I throw the budget to the wind would be a vintage style GT40 with a 427 Windsor in golf blue and orange. A bench build that I have been thinking about lately is a 61-62 Special or Skylark with a Rover 4.6 with 8 stack fuel injection still not sure about transmission. With a street legal road racer vibe.
