What's this wire plug for?

I installed a repro engine wiring harness several year ago in my '71 GS455 while the motor was being built. I'm now getting around to reinstalling the A/C components back onto the motor. There are two unused plugs coming out of the harness in front of the passenger side of the motor behind the alternator. I'm sure the one with the dark green and black wire is for the compressor as it has the long black wire that attaches to the top of the A/C bracket. But, what is the other connector for? It's black and has two pink wires in it with what looks like either a diode or a resistor between the two contacts going into the connector? Is it perhaps some kind of solenoid at the carb or manifold that I don't have on my engine?

Transmission Controlled Spark . Read about it in the Emissions section of your Chassis manual. Page 67-4 and 67-5.
