I know the bolt holding the balancer to the crank is torqued to 200+ foot lbs. What's the best method to get it and the balancer off without damaging them? Should an impact wrench be used to remove the bolt?

    Thanks.

    Impact should do the trick.
And yes, getting the torque right when re-installing is very important. I believe the manual says at least 200 ponds

If you don't have access to an impact gun, then use a Johnson bar. Place socket end over the bolt, with the other end touching the ground, disconnect the coil wire, touch the ignition key, and voila, bolt is loose. When reinstalling it requires 225-250 ft/lbs of torque.:TU:

Got it off without any issue with the impact gun. I thought for sure I'd have to use a puller to remove it, but after the bolt was removed, it came off the crank easily. I guess that is why you have to torque these things to over 200lbs.
