    Hi all,

yesterday the fuel pump of my '56 Roadmaster stopped working - 3/4 mile before home :(

At the moment I'm searching an electrical fuel pump. But I don't know the
flow rate of the original pump (the shop manual tells only the pressure -
    between 4 to 6.5 psi).

Anyone out there, who can help? :idea2:

    Thanx
    Robert

Robert, Carter makes a electric fuel pump that is just right for your car. Costs less than the others, is reliable, vane type, that puts out about 6 lb or so of pressure in a steady pulseless stream. I have them on my cars and have never had any problems. they make two versions, get the lower pressure model.
