OK, just cause up here in New England the weather has been lousy, salt all over the roads, that doesnt mean I havent been busy down in my shop.....

I've got 3-4 projects in the works that I think you guys will kinda like. Nothing is ready for unveiling yet, but I'll give you a clue.

I've found what looks to be a great, cheap material for a advance limiting bushing for GM distributors.. It's vinyl air bag hose/line manuafactured by Air Lift. It's got the same 1/4 OD of an intact bushing I found on a 455 distributor I have. The vinyl shouldnt dry or deteriorate over time, and the ID fits the post like it was made for it. I believe the line is sold under part # 330063.

I do know the replacemet line kit did NOT come with this type of line last time I bought one, it came with a white plastic line, like Air Shock line. This line came with the actual air bag kit.

I'll know soon exactly how much this 1/4 OD line will limit distributor advance, but my guess is 5-8 degrees on a 1111055 nailhead distributor. After this goes together, I'm seeking professional help (who will be identified later) to finalize the curve......I'll let you know how it goes!

All that aside, whats new for spring for you guys?

Just bought a pair of vintage AFB 625's to replace the 500's I've had on my blue car since 1982.
This will be a good time to install the Edelbrock intake I've had in my stash as well.

I haven't done much else with my cars this winter. I did build a new 29'er mountain bike, upgraded my road/cyclocross bike to a newer frame with disc brakes, and bought a '97 Kubota B2100 to handle the upcoming 'yard work' season.
Hoping to get started on my '65 GS resto this year too.

I'm just re-sealing the ST400, and installing a V6 ST300 converter instead of the stock ST400 unit. Other than that, not a whole lot.

Walt - I'm interested in how the extra CFM works out... take some baseline runs!

Andy - I've been thinking on a V-6 converter too - is it a 9 inch unit? Did you pick it up used or commercially?

Guys, this isn't the prettest schedule in the world and certainly not complete for everyone to use but it is a combination of ASCS events, OUSCI Qualifiers, and Team T/A contingency program events.
For those worried about RTTHs, we are leaning toward Sept. 13-15 so those that want can attend Indy GGs also. The only GGs events no this list are the OUSCI qualifiers and the GG finale in Fort Worth, Tx.
Hopefully, this will help you in your season planning, having everything in one place now.
If you see an error, please post asap, I am known to mess up and type a wrong date, ask anyone..lol

Still a 12in unit, like the standard ST300 converter, but should stall higher. I got one used from a member here on V8. Should be a nice upgrade over the stocker.
