1965 Buick 425 bored to 438, Stainless intake/exhaust valves, new pistons, mutha thumper cam and lifters, factory dual quad matching carbs too with freshly plated cleaner, complete fresh motor. Runs on a custom stand prettt darn well. Also factory 1965 super t-10 skylark 4 speed, also fresh.....

I would be very cautious. Ask some nailhead experts about this degree of overbore. I recall it way exceeds the factory limts. Without a sonic check verifying what you have left it may now be too thin.

I'll throw some rough numbers out for what it would cost to BUILD something like this. I could be off quite a bit....consider this a LOW estimate!
    Engine rebuild $3k
2x4 setup with fresh chrome $1800.
4 speed setup with fresh trans, $2K
Total: $6800 to build it. But if you're selling it, it might be real tough to get $4k for it.
The sad reality of our hobby is that labor costs don't add the full $$cost to the value.

As Jim said, the 0.060" over 425 makes me a little nervous. Part$ is part$, but unknown machine work could be a risk....

Yep,,, exactly what Walt said,,,,, this is why I dont want to rebuild, somebody else's rebuild or buy a pig in a poke.... when I build a engine, I KNOW what the machine work is and I KNOW what parts are in it.... :Brow: But,,,, to answer your question,,, it is worth whatever some one is willing to pay for it.... that sounds trite but that is the reality.... if you know the mechanic that built it, or watched him build it... and trust him completely,,,, then go for it... I remember when a 1/8 over bore was common... but now days it is a no-no.... use extreme caution when plunking down your money.....
