    Oh Thank u! :beers2::beers2::beers2:

    She's very cool, but not perfect. I mean she needs a little work soon, but is a very original car. And I love her!

    Next year when u come around to Bavaria we'll have a cruise!

    Although the first Wildcat I owned was a '66 that I loved, the '64 stops me in my tracks. I bought a '64 Wildcat last week.

    Just bought a '64 Wildcat and it has five (5) of the original 'Formula 5s' with it, including the center caps.

    67 of course, now that I got my old one back.

    It may not have the cool factor of a dual quads and a 4 speed, but it sure looks great and it is rare, only 2100 or so of the Custom convertible built. The only problem is, chicks still don't dig these cars...:grin:

    I agree, 67 is my favorite. A bit cleaner than my 68 as there is no split grill and the rocker chrome is a nice touch. My wife really does like it...;-)

    The 68s were nice, but I agree, the front end is not quite my taste either. For the big clunky split grille look I'm more partial to the 69.

    I used to have a 69 Wildcat with a rare 70 Wildcat bucket-seat interior; that was nice, wish I'd have kept it. It also had a 70 455 that I built to Stage 1 specs, and that stupid 2.45 axle that was only offered in 69. As a result, it was incredibly fast at the top end, and the fuel economy on the highway was incredible. It drank in town though, and would only barely hold it's own in the quarter. But it literally the best of the best once I loaded a pre-67 console and tach in it. It was loaded, it had every option that was available in 69-70; cruise, tilt, a/c, Power windows, Pneumatic locks, power seat, pneumatic power trunk, cornering lights. The worst thing was the purists in the club I belonged to at the time hated it, called it a bastard car. Wish I still had pictures of it to post; it was a nice car.

    Finally found a shot of my old 69 Wildcat; - dated back to 1991. It was a very pretty car. Wish I'd done an interior shot, it had the full 1970 bucket seat interior and was fully loaded. It also had a 1970 455 from the same donor car that I built up to stage 1 specs.

    1970 is the best year, 370 gross horsepower, 510 pds of torque, proud owner of two, a triple black convertible, and a recent find in va, bamboo cream with a black vinyl top, console, bucket seats and original 3,328 mile, verified mileage with a va title search, just needs a paint job.

    They're all mean as! but possibly a tad bias to the '69!!
