What was the popular color to paint rear brake drums?

    My drums are Aluminum on my ‘70 GS, front and rear. No paint for me.

    I always painted mine Cast Blast grey so they accent the wheels, was never a fan of straight black since there's so much black and the crazy colors...too hard to keep clean.

    So we are clear.. I am retroing my car to look like it could have been when it was new.Yes,I know it's a Skylark and came with a whopping 350 2 bbl and TH350,but that changed when I got my grubby paws on it...lol It may not be to everyone's liking,but at least it isn't a true GSX...

    I always painted my drums black. Had a set of Western 5 spokes on my 69 Chevelle.

    My caddy has a set to keep my spokes clean.

    Again, with sport wheels factory would be flat black and without they would be bare cast soon to be rust.
