I'm running NGK 2746's, gapped to .040 with a Pertronix Ignitor III. It's their standard V-Power plug, but one step colder from stock. I ran Autolite 85's previously, and although a good plug, I'd say the NGK's have performed better. You might benefit from a colder plug with your turbo.

Thanks andy.. I feel that I even thou they say to run the gap tight with turbo I think I have them to tight. I will be going to .035 and .040 to see if it likes it better.. I Love NGK and maybe it is because my dirtbike days but I am going to be switching over to ngk.

Are those plugs really better than AC Delco for a stock engine? They surely are popular.

I run Bosch platinums - I think the number is 4036. Gapped to .035 with A Pertronix III.

I had Autolite's in it when I got it, but once they got fuel soaked they never seemed to run right again. Through various tuning misadventures I've managed to soak the Boschs a few times and they bounced right back.

Champion Copper Plus RJ12YC gapped at .035" running stock distributor/ignition with Accel components. Still has the OE coil after 49 years and 104K miles. No problems :TU:

I should put a spare coil in the trunk just in case.........

I just fired in 8 new autolite 85 again @.035 this time .. just installed new valve seals and wanted a new plug so I can get a good reading. I had a set of bosch before and really liked them too. I will be swapping over to ngk once I get the oil consumption taken care of.
