?

what should I do with my '64 Riviera (other than give it to you)

  1. Try to perfect every part of it and restore it

    25.6%
  2. Add a TA performance exhaust, shorty headers, & finned aluminum dress-up parts to original engine

    51.2%
  3. GO all-out with a second engine and make it an insane N/A setup

    7.0%
  4. buy a second engine and build it up for forced induction and go nuts

    16.3%

All right where did those rims come from???? I can't find anything but the road wheels and torquerII rims to fit the stock 5 on 5" bolt pattern. If some one here knows of aftermarkets that will fit with the drum barkes and proper back spacing please let me know!!! :beer

the rest of the car is pretty trick and custom, I wouldn't be supprised if the rims were custom made also

It would be pretty hard to mess up one of these Rivs...every time I see a post about one I realize that someday my wife is going to be mad at me all over again. :) I'd go with a nice exhaust system and a few upgrades and drive the hell out of that thing.

The TA kit makes a wonderful starting point but its not a perfect fit. Its designed with a flowmaster chamber style system in mind so that you lessen you chamber length by putting the mufflers up by the headpipes. If you use a non-chambered style mufflers its not as good of a place to put the mufflers as they get aweful low to the ground and you decrease backpressure by putting the mufflers farther back. I'm in the process of finishing up the redo on my TA kit. I used Hedman S-pipe header extensions where TA puts the mufflers and have been cutting the over axle pipe down a bit and spliced the magnaflow mufflers into the back section between the rear axle and the rear bumper, so far its working great but I only have 1 side at final mockup and will be welding it up today then moving onto the otherside.I'll bring the camera and take pictures

aw shoot! mufflers cost too much anyway... I think a straight exhaust with side outlets right before the rear wheels wil be nice

I ran it with straight pipes out the back, its loud but its mean sounding and bearable with a stock cam in there. You get a hairier cam and I'd put something in there.
