    When I drive my GS.
*I have a choice between AM radio and headered 455 with Super Turbos....never liked that front dash speaker.

*I take my foot off the gas at 50-60mph in second sometimes....never liked that front dash speaker.

*Give it a shot beside the car in the other lane if there is a young kid in there I give it two, if he grins,three....must educate the young.

*I check my front tires with a pressure gage.I check my rear tires with same pressure gage....and tread depth gage.

*With the wife in the car 50/50 chance I get in some kind of @##&^!!!....50/50 chance I go out alone next time.

Anyone else have these problems!!!! Later,Tony.

For some reason, My favorite pasttime is to run around in the country with the cutout pulled in the middle of the night. I also can't seem to not take turns at full throttle. I enjoy cornering in a car that can do it...

    mm, cutouts.

anyone seen the electric ones? if they weren't so expensive that would be the ultimate anti-rice tool...

you're on the way to work...he revs...you flip a switch, give it some gas and blow his windows out.

    cutouts

Yes I've seen those electric ones.I'm researching them
to find out the ups and downs.I really like the idea of flippin a switch and having [open headers],the whole idea is really cool for a street car.If and when I do,I'll post it here.Anybody else have any thoughts?:Do No:

JC Whitney has the mechanical (manual) for about $22 a piece. I'm thinking about getting a pair. I would kill to blow the windows out of a fart pipe!

    cutouts

who sells the cutouts? is there a website or a catalog i can look at with these.. I wouldn't think they would be that expensive.

I too would be happy to look into building a set. Vacuum powered woulent be bad either (convert the JC whitney ones) though do you guys intrested in cutouts have enough vacuum to do that?

and those that think you don't have enough what vacuum pressure do you have.
and what is the factory pressure.

you'd only need to resize the pnumatic cylinder for lower vacuum amounts.
Bimba is a company that makes smalller pnumatic cylinders (they also can modify them for vacuum use)

    ideas ideas.

    Nate

edit.. wow.. some of those cutouts seem to have some really nice layout to them. although I wonder how well the motor handles the heat.

At one time I thought FatMan Fabrications offer the cutouts that were activated electricly. I remember seeing them one time in a magazine. Don't know if they still have them. You might want to give them a try and see if they still make them.

Ever see that commercial for the 1970 GTO that had the option that allowed you to select straight thru the muffler exhaust? The kid is roaming the local burger joint and pulls the little dash mounted knob which activated a vacuum diaphragm on the muffler that switched it to straight thru and gives her a few kicks on the throttle. Cool. Turns out the big shots at GM saw that commercial and pulled the option. Didn't even know Pontiac had it! There was a GTO in Musclecar Review a year or so back with this option. BTW, the commercial can be downloaded off the web from a few GTO sites..

I remember that GTO in the article. It was called VOE exhaust, and seems like they said there were something along the lines of 150 or so made. Coolness :TU:

I was thinking I'd use a couple manuals and 2 power door lock servos. Any thoughts?

    servos

I'm not sure if the servos would have enough eumpfh to hold them closed. I was thinking a pair of headlight motors off of an old honda.

they already move about 180 degrees. I'm not sure what you would need to control these though. if just 12 v would work or if they need the headlight controler box under the dash.
