I am guessing this question has been asked before, but I do not have a computer, just my phone, so it is difficult to navigate and search threads. Is it possible with out much if any modifications since my 74 stage engine has the emissions style intake? Any info is greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure the block matters at all. The heads might matter. At minimum, you'd need to plug the AIR holes in the intake gasket surface of the '74 heads. I'm thinking that the exhaust crossover is not compatible with the older intake...but I could be wrong.
more trouble than its worth, I have a 73 intake you can have free, pick up only. Maybe someone in New England going to the Nats could p/u for you and bring to the nats.
I appreciate the offer, unfortunately, I am not going. The engine I have is from a Rivera, and does have stage 1 heads, i was just hoping to put a cleaner, stock intake with out the ugly tubes.
