What is this?

curious if anyone knows what this is in my intake manifold. Just bought a used motor haven’t seen this before. Thank you.

Nos spray bar,..must be plumbed under the intake,..grudge type deal

 

That’s what I was thinking but didn’t quite believe my eyes

 

I'm guessing the aluminum stock is drilled out,..there should be a supply fitting coming out somewhere on the back side or thru a water outlet,..I've seen guys tun the supply line thru the heater hoses ha

 

Yup. Hidden nitrous. Love to see more pics of what you find....

That brings back some sneaky memories from my street racing days.Spray bar plumbed under the manifold.Had a fogger once plumbed in the bottom and out the back through the bell housing

Nitrous and fuel spray bars, both need a supply from somewhere. Post more pics, love to see how that’s plumbed up. Someone spent a lot of time being sneaky......

Ide like to see more. If that intake and engine are from the original set up. Might have more goodies inside. Besides just nitrous. Depends how far in you go to know.

Pulled intake last night. Engine supposed to be freshened up. The cam is claimed to be a new 308s. Heads ported by Killian. The heads are supposed to be the ones on their home page. Looks as if they needed to weld in a few spots on the intake side of heads.
Kinda surprised to see 3/8” valves in there.

 

Every pushrod is rubbing on the heads. Glad I pulled it apart!!!

 

I bet that thing made some decent power,.the port work looks nice
