    Came with a ‘69 GS400 motor.

Number above secondary shaft where ID numbers usually are:
29242 LG 0159. I thought this number was the definitive ID, but wth? 2FA0C3A6-F560-4997-B38F-FE545CDB0166.jpeg 25EA1E9F-7337-4171-9B25-2B21696A7762.jpeg

Number in little circle on back of carb:
    7037399

That first number makes no sense. Is this some type of replacement carb?

The number in a circle is the individual part number for the fuel bowl casting.

The air horn and baseplate should each have a similar mark, different numbers.

Thanks guys. The lack of a “70” was throwing me.
I learn something new every day here...the trick is to remember it!

The only thing consistent about the numbering system on Quadrajets, is how inconsistent they are!

What (if anything) does the "X" on the casting mean/indicate/denote?
