Well, compared to a LOT of you both my Buick and I are pretty darned new!

I'm the 3rd 'little old man' custodian of Goldie - and 85 Lesabre Limited Collectors Edition. She's quite low mileage - currently around 45,000 and is odd due to her 'lack' of equipment.

2 door sedan, NO vinyl roof (VERY odd for a mid '80s car in my opinion), has power seats, a/c and wire wheel covers. That's IT!!

I believe that someone on here told me that she was one of around 20,000 but as weird as she is I'd really like to 'find the impossible' and know how many 'sisters' she has! My guess is that it's a very small family.

At any rate, my wife absolutely hated her until this summer when (a) I think she figured out my attachment for the car and (b) she went for a ride. She still hasn't driven her yet but I figure that we've made enough progress for awhile and I'm NOT going to push it!

Sadly, the car was stored outside for several years and got hailed on - but there was no real paint or body damage but quite a bit of the trim was hurt. I'll be asking questions on cleaning and polishing on the appropriate thread as I have obtained most of what I need and just need to polish/restore it. The hail also took out the fillers between the bumper and those are budgeted for but not purchased yet. Seems as though every junk yard queen I've found has had the same fate. Parts have been donated from a 2dr '85, a 4dr '85 and a '83 2 dr - all in different U Pick yards....

As you can plainly see, she's nice - holding her age well and hopefully I'll get her back to her former glory before spring!

PLUS, I'm digging deep for skills I haven't used in YEARS - and enjoying every minute of it!!!

Just bought a 65 wildcat. I had never heard of it before ( I'm 29) but when I saw it, it was love at first sight. I have a lot of work ahead of me but the journey is where the fun is.

425 nailhead for sale may have a cracked cylinder. Engine still turns. Oil and water were mixing. Make an offer.
