    Hi,
I have a 1967 2-door 300in V8 Red Skylark(a lot of information!). I bought it in december 2011. I'm totally in love with my car. Now it's like a son. It was 21 years closed in a garage before I buy it. I'm from Rio de Janeiro-Brazil and I hope to get help with any question in this forum. Thank you.

I recently acquired a 1961 Buick Electra 4 door post in good shape. It desperately needed brakes, which I am in the process of replacing at the moment (completed minus a good bleeding) And windshield wiper motor is defunct. After I drive it some, I am sure I will love this car!!!--------Bob AKA Metalguy

'68 Skylark California GS. I thought classics were older than '65...'55? Well, mine's 45 years old, younger than my wife. She hated that our '56 Chevy wagon was older than her. She doesn't like the Skylark, either. Something about hitting her head on the headrest...

    .

Love your car and loved the "punishment" in your blog! Right on! That '55 Century is a wonderful car. When I was in high school (I think that was just before the flood in the Bible... ) I had a '57 Roadmaster 4 Door (OK, it was my father's but I got it later in college) and a good bud had a '55 Century coupe like yours. We decided to see which was faster. Uh... it wasn't the '57 - much to my surprise. I thought the extra cubes of the 364 would work some magic. But 5150lbs (yes, I weighted it on a shipping scale accurate to within 20lbs) and 3.07 gearing was no match for that Century. I must say the '55 does have very nice taillights...

Well... here they are: 1968 Wildcat Convertible, 430V8, Cameo Cream and a 1970 GS 455 Coupe (might have guess that from my user name!), Bamboo Cream. Call the colors what you will but they are really varying shades of pale yellow (I'm a coward, so it's right on)
