   What is the correct gloss level for the black paint on the consolette -- satin? Semi-gloss?
   
   Want to make it right if its getting done.

   I used Rustoleum "satin black" on mine. Make sure you take off ALL the old paint. Use paint stripper. If you leave any of the old paint, the grain wont look right.
   
   CORRECTION!-- I just remembered I used SEM Trim black on mine, not Rustoleum.
