Can I get one that will bolt right up or do I need an adapter. 600, 650,750 or 800 CFM? Anyone know the model # I should look for? Replacing the beat rochester 4jet.

If you have a rochester q-jet you would better off to go with a spread bore Holley. [ no adapters needed]
If you have a roch. 4 bbl sq. bore, then go with the edelbrock and depending on what you are looking for performance or just a carb, if just a carb then one around 600 cfm. If performance , dont stop untill you get to 800 cfm or bigger.
There are a lot of possible combo's for a nailhead. just what exactly are you looking for????????

Thanks, I am looking for dependability, performance and something that looks a little cooler won't hurt either.

A well prepared 800 CFM will give you the best trouble free performance once dialed in for your combo. Several folks here that can do the carb for you. An 800CFM from a 1971 thru 75 will work fine.

the edelbrock will bolt right up just get a steel spacer from edlebrock and longer carb studs, as for linkages they are very similar
