The work on my car is nearly done, now i have found this parts and no idea, what it is. The screws were in the same storage box, but i don't know if they belong to it.
Just to add a bit if someone's curious...I think they hold the carpet down so it won't get caught in the track.
Truth is...I don't know exactly how they go on, I'm sure that's what they are, though. You don't use those bolts in the picture, they attach to the bolts that hold the seat to the floor. I've never had power seats, so I don't know if they go on the 2 front bolts, or the 2 rear bolts.
Ya have my curiosity... Anything like these??? ws http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-1972-C...EAT-BELT-COVER-CARPET-PROTECTOR-/272796657171
I noticed a "liked" to my post about the ebay stuff. Did that help? Looks like there may be a few pieces to sandwich the rug... got some pics of the installed job? ws
Here is a photo of my front seat area in my 67 SportWagon. You can see the two shields in place and perhaps the the holes in the carpet where the seat tracks mount. The seat is a a power bench seat. I took these out when I removed the carpet to install DynoMat. I cleaned the shields and painted them black and then forgot to put them back when I re-assembled the interior and mounted the seat. I now have two nice black shields in my parts box.
