What is all involved in converting my 73 Lesabre to clutch fan?

I have no A/C , 350 a 4 bladed direct drive stock fan and an Aluminum radiator I bought on ebay a long time ago. It stays pretty cool most of the time but Id feel more comforable with more cooling capacity here in florida. What do I all have to change to put in a stock clutch fan. What years and cars interchange. Has anyone here actually done such a conversion? Thanks

You need to figure out what fan came with that set up and if the pulleys and water pump was different. Your best bet is finding someone parting a 73 with AC and getting all the parts.

I put a clutched fan on my 66GS from a mid 80s G body. Hit the salvage yard and pick out a nice one for about $30. Take some measurements and make sure it doesn't sit too far in the shroud and the diameter is right. Try to get a thermostatic clutch so you don't waste gas on cold days.
