66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

Someone really wanted a Mopar and ended up with a blood y Buick instead. Oh well, it's nothing that a few bits and a weekend of drinking and narcotics won't fix...
Just more proof that some people only have taste in their mouths.

The back glass looks like it came from a camper, and the whole thing looks like it got shoved into that parking deck wall, then fixed with crap lying around and bondo. Another seller with decimal trouble.

It is common to avoid licensing in a game by changing vehicle appearances and names. this car is the "Samson Drifter" from Mafia 3

From ebay ad: This particular classic vehicle was built and showcased for a video game by 2K Games INC. The game was Mafia 3 and it was a car design specially to there standards

There might have been a launch party or some such with real cars commissioned. Their marketing material included old magazine style car adverts - the attached is clearly of this car.

I read a little of that wikipedia article and came away with two thoughts: one is ‘that sure is a lot of text, story and mental investment for a video game’ and two, that car vs. the picture reminds me of the ‘05 GTO/Shovelle SS HRSS454 thingy that Hot Rod was all excited about. The drawings looked great but the reality, not so much...

That HRSS is one poorly proportioned car, the small wheels of that era look out of place. The whole concept looks like it misfired. I wonder what Hot Rod thought when that thing was unvieled?

I remember seeing the drawings and thinking they looked good but noticed the proportions of the GTO were way off vs. the drawings. HR hyped it a lot with teaser sketches and a few photos. The finished product (first try) looked asswhomped and they hedged saying ‘fine tuning’ of details was still going on. Later they showed the finished product and hyped it like it was awesome. Then it sank and disappeared, never to be mentioned again...

10 views per hour, I wonder if the seller realises a fair chunk of those are V8Buick members gawking at it going wtf & why?

If only they'd started with a Chevelle!!

The grill could be from a gas grill or maybe 2 refrigerator shelves.
