What if some one made a single 4 intake manifold out of plastic like the late model cars have. I would think that the exhaust heat crossover would have to be changed to a water heated set up. easily done. and then for the hp guys no heat at all. Water heating the plenum is the right way to do it. Easily done if there is room. All that would be needed is two holder grooves under the manifold, for a water box to slide into and be retained. That way, it could be heated, or not, for drag racing. Regards, Milton
Has anyone else looked at the manifolds on ebay that are for nailheads the fellow is making from exhaust tubing. They have a WOW factor and should save a ton of weight but performance ????
I have seen them. They look good . However , welding them up and keeping them from warping all over the place would be a chore. I thought of a ''tub'' type that could be done fairly easy but that requires a milling machine that I dont have. But with patience could be hand made.
