What happened to the War on Drugs?

    Band from Philly....that is......sorry off topic...but one of my favorite bands.....won best album last year (Deeper Understanding) then disappeared....no gigs...facebook dead.....

    Yeah, very cool band. Reminded me of old Dire Straits. Didn't know they disappeared.

    Making in the music game is hard. Some times life gets in the way and u must make a choice to keep dreaming or feed your family. The music industry is a machine and it will eat u up and spit u you out. Ask me how I know. I too was on the same path, I too had a following, i had big people looking at me. But when life hits you you cant stay down. I'm quite content just being Nailhead Ronnie

    Yeah I know but to win Grammy for best rock album in 2018 then nothing....no tour or new music this year....maybe drugs did win the war.....

    Used to do the band thing, very hard to keep a good band together. Personalities clash, people move on, etc. We actually did a demo cd and were in the studio recording a full album when it all fell apart. Drummer got hooked on oxy from a back injury, singer's attitude sucked, you get the picture. I miss it and I don't at the same time.
