If you were to buy aluminum pulleys for your nailhead, what finish would you choose? 1. Raw machined finish- Lower cost- Can be polished but will corrode and "dull" over time requiring attention2. Polished & clear anodized- Great shiny looks - Offers some wear resistance3. Color anodized- Blue, red, gold, black- Match those hose end fittings and other accents!- Offers some wear resistance4. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that changes the surface structure similar to "plating". Powdercoating is basicly a baked on paint.
I think it would depend on the look I'm going for on that build. I prefer polished and cleared but anodizing in a color would be cool too.
