Sorry no Buicks this weekend, but it is nice to be in town for a week or so & this weekend I went to 3 cruises/shows as well as working on two Ponchos! Finished buffing the 64 G.P. after painting it a few weeks ago & got the 66 Catalina Conv ready to go to the blasters today to have the complete underside as well as the engine compartment sand blasted. Was actually home for once for the week last week. Did some house items, like hang more drywall. I also found time to work on the Skylark. Installed and timed my new distributor. Then checked out my rims to see what was going on with them. Now I need to order a set of rims before I go back home in a few weeks. Now it’s back to work, hanging out near Big Springs Texas for a while.
Just too bad this weekend I didnt get to keep any of them. They were all customers. But one if the captains I work with, gregg freeze of walleye 2 go charter, was super nice and took my family out over the holiday weekend for just gas in the boat. There was amazing bite, but it was 10 miles out, just too far to take my kids in our 19ft fishing boat. And our 27fter isnt setup for fishing at all. Took us less than 2 hrs dock to dock to pull out 36 walleye with only the 2 of us setting the rods and the kids dining the cranking. Thus trip netted us just under 30 lbs of yummy fish filets
