Building a 350 with 10.25 forged pistons, new 73 rods, TA intake, headers, 200-4r, ported 74 heads, 373 gear .... What cam should I use with a 150 to 170 shot of nitrous? Thinking of the Poston GS118? Car is a 72 GS Clone rag top.

    Thanks, David

    Hi David,

You'll want a camshaft with AT LEAST 20* more duration on the exhaust side.

Kerry is right on! You always want to cater to the exhaust side when using the bottle. I use a cam with more duration AND lift.
Also - have a very good exhaust system with 2.5" pipes.
Watch your ignition advance as you NEVER want to detonate while on the bottle.
I have had good luck with this combo. The car would go from Fast to Hell fast with the touch of a button!

    Have fun!
