1982. I was reading somewhere that year still falls in the "Gen X" category, but I was under the impression the last Gen X'ers were late seventies...

1983 here, I thought I was young to be into Buicks. My first car was a 1955 Special 4 door hardtop I got when I was 15 for 700 bucks. I got the money from working after school in the town library. I had to stamp about 100,000 books at 5.15 an hour to get that 700 bucks!

    65 here.
    That's 1965, not 65 years old!
Still a spring chicken, but old enough to remember our cars when they were plentiful and shiny and when that 20,000 "original mile" baby that you see for sale on craigslist only had 120,000 miles on it that you could document with the paper oil change stickers stuck to the door jamb.

That's what I said when I looked at the 1st post.

I looked at it and said "here we go another oldie coming back to life".

It is intresting though, I kind of thought that most of us were born in the 60's that are on this site.

Well I guess I'll throw my birth year into the mix, 1960.

I was born in 1970 BUT... My daughter, the proud and loving "owner" of our project was born in 1994.

I am pretty sure that she is one of the youngest Skylark owners around! She was definately born in the wrong generation. She loves the 70's Musclecars, 1970 Skylarks in particular. I am a very proud father

Funny - that's exactly what I did. Went from an 04 Acura to a 67 Buick.
