Just curious. I wonder what age group most board participants fall into. With all the talk of music and cartoons, it would be interesting to see just how 'old' we Buick owners actually are :Brow:

Age is relative to current year. So, what year were you born?

I don't think you can query on birth date, and if you can, how accurate do you think it would be?

I don't want too much information about me on the internet. My birth date is blank

Born in 1973. Being dragged (kicking and screaming) to the big 30 (2 weeks from now). But hey, at least my car is older then I am.

Don't feel old (yet) except I can't drink like I used to and I need more sleep then back in the day.

Oh well. Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional  :TU:

I hear ya. I've got about 7 weeks till doomsday myself.

I've never planned anything for my life past age 30.

What the hell do I do now?:Do No:

    LOL

I had a friend who freaked about turning 25!! :eek2:

30 ain't doomsday (maybe you shouldn't rent the movie Logan's Run). I'm 32 in 2 months. Big deal. Feels exacty the same as when I was 18. Had all the same aches and pains then that I do now. About the only thing that's changed is the number of broken bones and scars  People think that after you turn 30, there's a guy who turns up at your door with a booklet on what you're not allowed to do anymore....that guy ain't coming, trust me

The "Old Guy " on the Board claims to have been born before the Dead sea was dead. That is going to be hard to beat, except I have personally seen Board member "Buicklawyer " who definitely looks to be in his 80s.

Us early forties dudes are currently at the center of the Buick Bell Curve.

That's because we're the coolest. Right?!? :moonu:

Definately, the coolest . We also grew up with these cars. I wonder if in thirty years people will be maintaining Hondas the way we do out Buicks.

    Me too!
I thought turning 25 sucked! I felt I should have accomplished a lot more than I had.
Though, I wouldn't call it "freaking out".
The 30 and 40 year marks were no big deal.
    42 now and counting.

Banged my first 6 speed during 65 in a 56 Studebaker with overdrive--- and my first 4 speed in 68 in a 55 Chevy. Last ran on a drag strip in 69 with that 55, smoked the clutch and lost it compleletely on the way home at 1 am. Thumbed home, came back the next day, pulled the tranny and changed the clutch on the edge of the road. Now, I have to make up for a lot of lost time with Buick (and Olds power)! My first Buick was in 79--a 71 Estate wagon with a 455.
