    If you need a new voltage regulator and want a modern set up,Blain's Farm and Fleet has the best price I could find on a Wells vr715:$9.99 plus shipping(about 7.50 to me in NC). Just google Blain's Farm and Fleet and away you go. Top pops off and fit under my original vr cover.Works nicely.
