Hello, On my 68 Riviera I have some Flowmaster mufflers but with smaller dimensions as I want. I want to switch to 2,5 inch stainless. Anybody know if I can cut only the muffler to fit to my 2,5 inch? Or is the inner of the muffler different to the diameter? Also somebody knows which model from Flowmaster it is? Thanks!
I would just cut the neck off and put one on I the size you want and you might not even need a neck if you weld decent. Plasma cut the hole to fit the pipe and welder up. Or a hole saw , or a new end piece of metal and then the holesaw in the diameter you need. A lot kinda depends on your fabricating skilz.
