As many of You know, we lost my Wife, Gayle's Daughter on December 2017. We very much appreciated all the prayers and comforting comments from many here. I don't recall if I ever mentioned that Gayle's Son, Mark had a cancerous brain tumor as well. He has had two surgeries and it was removed. He has a plate in his skull now. Mark was in remission for 14 years. In those years, He and our wonderful Daughter-in-Law, Missy watched their 3 Daughters graduate high school, go to college, launch successful nursing careers and all three marry some great men. They now have 8 Grandchildren. All was well until Mark's recent MRI. The tumor is back. He is scheduled for surgery Thursday, July 25th. The surgeon said they cant get it all, so not certain as to what comes after. Mark may lose some motor skills, and brain functions. This has been hard on our entire family. We are all praying for the best outcome and doing our best to remain positive. Mark and I are very close. He is such a great guy, wonderful husband, Father and Friend to many. It's in God's Hands. Prayers will be spoken. It is in God's hands. I pray that Mark is comfortable and God gives him many more wonderful days on this earth. Cancer is a sucker and I hate it more than any other disease. I lost my mom, an Aunt, a niece and my best friend to the evil destroyer. BUT, I am a survivor and I know a lot of survivors. Your son will beat cancer no matter what. Prayers from Bill and I....ppat

They rescheduled Mark's surgery for next Friday, July 26. We had dinner with Mark and DIL last night. We didn't talk much about it. I know he is very worried. He is, like me, good at hiding his feelings.
why do some families have to endure so much sorrow? Someday we will have the answers when we meet our creator. I will be sending prayers for you guys. God Bless.
