This one is for Buick Dave. Last Friday after picking up my 455 block from Dave's, my friend Josh and I were in my truck with my dad following us in his jeep. Now my truck is a peice of work. Its an 88 with 210,000miles on it and terminal rust. Going down good old Woodward with the block in the bed we come upon a light and go figure we have two Mexicans in their K-mart edition Honda Civic can and all. Now with Josh and I's humor we hafta rev at them. Of course the ricers are up to any challenge. They start reving too. My friend Josh turns off the Heat and the Radio and looks at me and goes "we need all the power we can get" I roll my window and start symbolying to the Honda that this baby's got a 455! To bad it was in the bed but the truck's 350 does pretty good. Light turns green and i take it easy for a secong, i've got a one wheel wonder and its wet out. Once we are rolling i lay into it and put the hammer down. That old beast took a deep breath and pulled, at the launch the honda sat and spun a bit (at least he has a stick in it). But that old chevy pulled infront and i got on the brakes at about 60 and Senor Honda blows by me. About ten minutes later we catch up to him at another light. I start reving agian and they do to. I look in the rear view mirrow and my dad is shaking his head no and waving his hands at us. "if its a cop he'd honk" Light turns green and i punch it agian This time the honda launches and and start sliding into lanes lol. He got me the second time im not a sore looser but it was alot of fun fooling around andhaving a 455 hunk of iron in the back for traction sure helped alot. We try to catch up to the Honda agian cause this is alot of fun but my dad calls me and says in a serious yet funny way "Quit messing with the Local Wild Life". Tons of fun and really got me waiting for Spring so i can put my 455 in my GS and go have some real fun on Woodward. ALright ill check later for spelling errors but i g2g. I think i had tears in my eyes when this was going on i was laughing so hard
