    Hi,

One word of caution about NAPA, last year I went thru 5 pumps each time waiting a week-10 days to get one(wasted a month sitting) as each one leaked out the shaft, best we could figure was they sat too long on the shelf last one has been good just might want to have them order 2 in case there are any issues

    Regards,

Not sure what you got, but my 1st rule on water pumps, starters, master cylinders, clutch items and alternators is to get a new one...

I have seen way to many problems with remanufactured stuff to know to stay away from it...

I had the same thing happen with a MC, they only had remans available, I went through 5 or 6 of them, I finely sent it back and went to another parts store and got a new one, problem solved...

Unless you deal with someone like Jamie who works on your stuff and does it right I don't like reman stuff... The big reman company's do an OK job, they just don't spend enough time inspecting the cores to make sure there isn't a problem and they most likely don't use the best parts either...

I got my pump from Autozone. Other then taking four tries to get the correct pump, there have been no problems. It has been in operation on the 425 Nailhead for six years

Mine was suposly new, still took 5 trys and the pump was made by Cardone, different casting than original

    good luck...
