Shot this yesterday with the GoPro mounted upper L on the hailo. Wanted to see what the gauges were reading as theres never time to really see whats going on during the run. Fist thing I noticed was the fuel pressure drops to around 6 psi during the run. Second thing that might be a concern is how much RPM drop there is after a shift. Wondering if the converter is working correctly for the combo. This was a 1/8 mile pass.

Why only pull to 6k? I know it's a bracket car, that why? 7.0 index? 1k drop isn't that bad on the shift. Look like converter flashed to 5k

I guess that means your oil filter looked good after Piedmont.

Other than a few bits of sealer and some slightly sparkly oil it was clean. Changed the oil and went out this weekend. Have not gotten around to checking it again. Was good meeting you!
Hugger, Converter is a JW, built to flash at 4500. Based on the dyno sheet it made peak power of 620 @ 5800 and slightly over 700 lb tq @ 4500. I was thinking I might need to tighten it up a bit. Once I get more comfortable with the car I may pull a bit harder, but not much more.

I guess anything is possible but peak power at 5800 with stage3 heads and a healthy cam makes me scratch my head

    ^5 !
60' of 1.41 - 1.43. Going through the traps close to 6000 rpm

I thought it should make more also. When we added timing it lost power. Works best @ 34* Im thinking its running out of fuel on the top end of the tach. Have not red the plugs after the event. Last motor in that car liked lots of fuel / big jets and it was just slightly warmed up stock headed motor.
