    Nope...

There are a few 3 speed column shift LeSabre floating around, but I have only seen one for sale in the Bugle.

This has been discussed before. As for 67 & Newer, the answer is No known Factory 4 speeds. As for the Nail Head cars 63-66, The Wildcat had a 4spd available.
I know of 1 65 Riviera that was a 4spd. I can't say if it was a Factory installation, on a Special Order, or a Dealership Conversion, and the Original Owner past away a number of years ago.
The car was a light Green 65 Riviera GS. The Lady who owned the car, was Mary Hallstead Dewitt, and she lived in the Dalton PA. area.
The Family were Buick people from the 30s, and She carried on with the tradition. Her 63 Riv. was Drag Raced, & she wasn't happy with the "Dynaflow" & wanted a Stick in the new car.
She owned the car for about 2 years, and it was traded off. I have No idea if the car survives or what happened to it. It was I believe traded in New York State around 67-8.

Apparently the 'three on the tree' was available in a Wildcat in '67-'70 but to get it a buyer had to forgo several common options. And there's this one--http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?290167-Interesting-1970-Wildcat&highlight=wildcat

4-speed manual transmission was available on '63 LeSabre and Estate Wagons.

The 4-speed manual was available on Wildcat for '63, '64, and '65 only.

    - And I have yet to see one. I've heard of the odd small V-8 Buick with the 3spd in the tree, but never a BBB and a 3 speed. The early 70s cars had 3 speed on the options list, but never a 4 speed. Even then, I think the only combo was the small V-8 and the standard. Never have seen one though.

I'm in the process of rebuilding an original '64/425 "Cat" conv. 4 spd. now.

I've always thought a 4 ,5 or 6 speed manual in the Riv would be very cool.

Indeed it would! Especially if it was made to look factory.

There are some customized Rivieras I am aware of- the first one I saw in Vermont around 2000. The gut had the right stuff too, 3.91 rear gears and a 3 sp with overdrive trans. Well done, it was a 65, black with the black cloth interior.
Second one was a custom 64(?) being built by Dave Lewis in Springfield IL. He has passed away so I do not know if it ever got finished.

I've been obsessed with the 65 Wildcats- last year for the full size 4-sp Buick. So last year for a Dual Quad 4-Speed Positraction Wildcat...which is pretty special.

And just what was the brick for? Putting it on the gas pedal to hold an idle?

That does look like the 65's I've seen, but I have no idea if they ever carried the same set-up through into the 70s. They used the shifter on some early 80s Malibus that were destined for Iran...other than that, who knows?

I've never seen one either, except for the earlier Wildcats like already mentioned. As far as a big Buick with a column shift, it was the "base" setup for several years, but I've never seen one in a big car. Heard of them, but never laid eyes on one.

Oddly enough, my literature shows the base '71 LeSabre as coming with an inline 250 straight six and a column-shifted 3-speed, but I've never seen or heard of that particular (gutless) setup. Yeech, I can't imagine trying to get a LeSabre moving with a 250...

You are correct about the column-shifted 3-speed, and we know that some 1971 LeSabres and at least one 1971 Centurion were built with a 3-speed manual.

I have collected 1971 Buick literature for forty years, and have never seen anything indicating that an inline 250 straight six was offered for the 1971 LeSabre. If you have literature that shows otherwise, I'd love to see it.

All literature I've seen indicates that the LeSabre was offered with the 350-cid 2-bbl V8 engine as standard equipment, with the 350-4 and 455-4 as available options.
